Eligibility :

    • Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
    • Computer Literacy : Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

Job Description :

The next Common Written Examination (CWE) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Participating Organisations listed below will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November/ December 2013.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations listed at (A) as a Clerk or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process- (CWE Clerks-III).
Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by IBPS. Depending on the State/UTwise available vacancies in Participating organisations, candidates shortlisted will be allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.

Job Description :

The candidates who have obtained less than 60% marks in their final exams and passed out before 2011 will not be considered for apprenticeship. The candidates are required to bring all original documents along with attested photocopies of all the certificates for verification.

ISRO notification for Administrative Officer and Accounts Officer [Group-A, Gazetted]

Payment of Application Fee :

By using the personalized payment challan, candidates have to remit the application fee at the nearest branch of State Bank of India to Receipt Account No. 32034064593 on any day between 12-07-2013 and 02-08-2013 After remittance of the application fee, candidate has to send one part of the challan form [ISRO copy] to Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore -560 094 by post within 7 days and in any case not later than 08-08-2013. The payment shall be made through cash deposit only. Payment of Application Fee in any other form like Cheque, Draft, Money Order, IPO, etc. are not allowed. Applications in respect of which copy of challan form, after remittance of prescribed application fee [ISRO copy] is not received in ISRO HQ, Bangalore on or before 08-08-2013 will not be considered for further processing under any circumstances.

Pay and allowances :

The Gross Emoluments in the minimum of pay band will at present be approximately Rs.37,800/- p.m. In addition, HRA and Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility. The employees will be governed by New Pension Scheme. ISRO provides attractive benefits to its employees such as medical facilities for self and dependants, subsidized canteen, free transport [or in lieu transport allowance], limited housing facility for fresh entrants [or in lieu HRA], Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, advances for purchase of conveyance, construction of house etc.

Selection Process :

The written test will be conducted at at eight venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, New Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Sriharikota and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates short-listed based on the performance in the written test will be called for interview, the schedule and venue of which will be intimated. Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the address given in the application to the place of interview.

  2. There will be negative marks for wrong answer in objective test. 1/4th of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

  6. With the printout of the challan, the Candidate should visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India to deposit the appropriate fees in cash only in Account no.32968716721 in favour of ‘NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD’. Fee payment will be accepted from 17th July 2013 to 7th August 2013.
  7. After 3 days from date of receipt of fees, the candidate can check their application status in the website and take a printout of the complete application and fees payment challan which should be retained by them for future reference.

Management Trainee (Finance & Accounts) : 
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% of marks in aggregate of all years/ semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized University. Should have passed final examination of ICAI or ICWAI.
Management Trainee (HR & Welfare) : 
Full time Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% of marks in aggregate of all years/ semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognized University. Management Trainee (Corporate Communications) :

Should have passed Full time Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication / Advertising / Journalism / Public Relations of not less than 2 years duration with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters from a recognized university / institute.

Final year students :

Online registration shall commence from 5th July 2013. Only those candidates need to apply who have passed the qualifying degree with specified percentage of marks by 30thJune 2013 and possessing the Provisional Certificate and Marks Sheet by said date.

SELECTION :

The selection process will consist of Written Test followed by Group Discussion/ Interview. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Examination, information of which will be provided in the Admit card. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear for Group Discussion / Interview.

Written Test :

  • Written test will comprise of General Awareness, Numerical Ability, General English, Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning and separate paper for each discipline.
  • Eligible registered candidates will have to appear for written test at designated centre at their own expense.
  • Written Test will be held simultaneously at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates are required to choose one of these cities as Test Centre and no change under any circumstances will be allowed subsequently. The Company however reserves the right to add/delete any centre and allocate appropriate centre to the candidate at its discretion.
  • Likely date for written test is 18th August, 2013 (Sunday). However, the date may undergo change.

Group Discussion/Interview :

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear for Group Discussion/Interview (which may be held at short notice). Please visit the website for information on the same.

TRAINING & PROBATION :

Candidates selected as Management Trainees will be placed on training for one year. After successful completion of training, the candidates shall be placed under probation for one more year.

EMOLUMENTS :

  • Selected candidates will be offered a basic pay of 20,600/- p.m. in the scale of 20,600-3%-46500/-(E-1).
  • On successful completion of training, they will be designated as Junior Managers in the same scale of pay.
  • Besides Basic Pay, the Management Trainees will also be paid Dearness Allowance. They will also be entitled for other perquisites and benefits such as PF, Gratuity and other perks & allowances as per rules of the Company in vogue. In addition, the Company provides benefits like Leave encashment, housing/HRA and free medical facility for self and dependents as per rules in vogue. The CTC would be around 7.62 lakhs p.a.
  • An amount of 5000/- per month will be deducted from the total emoluments during the period of training and probation, as retention amount, on returnable basis on confirmation of service in the Company after successful completion of training and probation period. The retention amount will be forfeited, on leaving the service/termination of service before confirmation.
  • As this would be direct recruitment on initial basic, the Company will not bear any liability on account of Salary/ leave salary/ pension contribution etc., of previous employment, if any.

  • Application & Processing fee of 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for General and OBC candidates.
  • Processing fee of 50/- for SC, ST and PWD candidates.
  • The Fee Payment Challan / Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the basic details.
  • Fee must be deposited in “RINL/VSP Recruitment Account No. 30589461220” at any of the Core Banking Branches of State Bank of India (SBI) in the prescribed preprinted Challan. No other form of payment is accepted.
  • Candidates have to fill in their own handwriting Date of Deposit, SBI Branch Code No., SBI Branch name, Bank charges and Total amount paid and sign at the appropriate place on the challan.
  • Candidates have to pay bank commission @ 25/- per Challan for depositing fee at other than SBI, Steel Plant Branch, Visakhapatnam (Code 6318).
  • Please insist the fees collecting SBI branch to invariably enter your name and 7 digit registration number mentioned in the Challan in their online screen.
